Following
the Taylor Report it is expected that all types of event that
attract crowds should have an 'adequate level' of medical cover.
However, the regulations are not clear and the requirement is
often based on 'reasonable measures' taken at 'similar events'
elsewhere.

Over the last eight years we have specialised in providing
advice on how our clients should organise their medical cover
in order to satisfy this requirement. Our recommendations are
based on our risk assessment, discussion with the local emergency
services, and summarised in a Medical Incident Plan. In
this way everyone associated with an event is aware of the arrangements
and their role in a medical incident.
